Custom software development in Preston.
Software shaped around how you work. Not the other way round. Bespoke software, built, launched and supported by a UK team.
When custom software makes sense
Off-the-shelf software is the right answer more often than software companies like to admit. Custom software earns its cost when the tool you need does not exist, when the closest thing forces your team to work around it, or when the process is the thing that sets your business apart.
- The spreadsheet that runs the business and only one person understands
- Software that almost fits, so everyone works around it
- Manual hand-offs between teams that cost hours every week
- A product idea you want to put in front of paying customers
If one of those sounds familiar, a conversation is worth having. If an existing product will do the job, we will tell you. See build or buy?
What we build
- Web apps, client portals and internal tools
- Systems that replace spreadsheets and paper processes
- Legacy systems refactored and modernised, without starting from scratch where it is not needed
- Software that connects to your CRM, accounts and booking tools. See systems integration
Bespoke software, bespoke software development and custom software development all mean the same thing to us: software designed around your process, owned by you.
How we work
We carry the process and you steer the direction. We act as your product owner, project lead and developers. That starts with discovery, then a proposal with indicative costs and timeframes, then agile delivery in short sprints. Every sprint ends with a demo and working software you can use. Once it is live we stay on hand to support and improve it.

Questions we get asked
How much does custom software cost?
It depends on what you need. We give indicative costs and timeframes in a discovery proposal before you commit, and the proposal fee comes off the project cost if you go ahead.
How long does it take?
We build in short sprints, so you see working software early rather than waiting for one big delivery. The timeframe goes in the proposal.
Who owns the software?
We agree this up front in writing, so there are no surprises later. Ask us on the discovery call.
Can you take over software someone else built?
Often yes. We start with a review so you know what condition it is in before deciding what to do next.
