SaaS development in Preston.
Got an idea for the next big software-as-a-service platform? We build and run our own SaaS products, so we know what it takes from first idea to paying users.
We build SaaS for ourselves
Happy Lemon Labs runs two live software products. ReviewSync turns happy clients into Google reviews and has been live since February 2026. FileFi is a secure file sharing service that launches in October 2026. We designed, built, launched and support both.
That matters when you hire us to build yours. We know where first versions go wrong: billing, onboarding, support and the dull parts nobody puts on a roadmap.
What a SaaS build covers
- The product itself: accounts, dashboards and the core feature that solves the problem
- Subscriptions and payments with Stripe
- Onboarding, emails and notifications
- Admin tools so you can support customers
- Hosting, security and monitoring
- A launch plan and a route to your first paying customers
Start with the smallest thing that can earn money
We would rather help you get a small version in front of real customers than spend a year building the full vision. We build in short sprints, so you can charge, learn and adjust early. The rest of the roadmap is shaped by what customers actually do.
No tech team? No problem. We act as your product owner, project lead and developers. See our process.
Questions we get asked
What does SaaS stand for?
Software as a service: software customers pay for by subscription and use online, rather than buy once and install.
Can you help me decide whether my idea is worth building?
Yes. Our discovery stage exists to test the idea and the plan before any build money is spent.
Will I own the product?
We agree ownership in writing up front. Ask on the discovery call.
Do you run it after launch?
Yes. We can host, monitor and support it, and keep shipping improvements.
